Activity Center FAQ

What is Activity Center?

Activity Center provides an easy way for parents to see how their kids are spending time on their tablet. When you enable Activity Center on a tablet, data on how much time was spent playing apps and games, watching videos, listening to music and audiobooks, reading books and periodicals, and visiting the Internet is sent to the cloud along with the names of the specific apps, games, videos, music, audiobooks, periodicals, books and websites accessed. Parents can then review this data on a customized, secure page on their smartphone, tablet or computer, by going to and clicking on ‘Your Devices’.

Can I delete my Activity Center data?

Yes, you can delete the Activity Center data associated with your Amazon account by visiting the Manage Your Content and Devices page on ( or contacting Customer Service. This will not delete any usage data stored locally on your device like web browser history.

How do I enable or disable Activity Center?

Activity Center is disabled by default, but you can enable Activity Center at any time by going to Settings > Parental Controls on your tablet. Whenever Activity Center is enabled a persistent notification appears in the status bar and notifications tray of your tablet.
